This book ate. I didn’t even read the synopsis—saw it on a vampire rec list, borrowed it from the library, and cracked it open. And once I did? Could not put it down. It’s such a fresh take on vampires and hunters, insanely funny, and the banter is straight-up god tier. The FMC?? So cool, I’m actually obsessed with her. The atmosphere is rich as hell, the fight scenes go so hard, and the lore? Immaculate. Enemies-to-lovers will always have me in a chokehold. Only thing is, the prose felt a little amateur at first, but honestly, everyone’s gotta start somewhere. I’d definitely read more from this author.
